DaBaby never wastes time when it comes to flaunting his riches on a track and video. Fresh off declaring he’s one of the two best rappers alive, DaBaby is back with his first new song in 2021 titled “Masterpiece.” On Friday (January 15), the Grammy-nominated rapper unleashed the record with a lavish video directed by Gemini to accompany the d.a. got that dope-produced track.

In the video, the 29-year-old, alongside girlfriend DaniLeigh, flaunts a fleet of luxurious cars in front of a row of private jets on a landing strip. The clip then cuts to Baby taking pictures and chatting it up with fans in the middle of New York City.

The Charlotte native first previewed the song back in December when he posted a clip of it to his Instagram. The two-minute snippet shows Baby jamming to the track while riding around New York City with a blunt in tow. DaBaby was having so much fun blasting the new song out of his car that he pulled out two guns and danced with them while waiting at a red light.

DaBaby is looking to have a strong start to 2021 with a track like “Masterpiece.” The synth-laden beat has DaBaby look back on his career up to this point and how it made him into a gem. He slides his way all over the bouncing production with his trademark rapid-fire flow.
