It looks like Kanye West not only got the song he wanted with his favorite rapper, he got the video too.
Photos surfaced of Ye and Lil Baby on set in Manhattan with famed director Hype Williams on Wednesday (November 18), with a call sheet that said the shoot is for a collab named “Hurricanes.”
In a tweet-and-delete spree in July, Kanye named Baby as his favorite rapper but bemoaned he wouldn’t do a song with him. The My Turn rapper soon responded, assuring Ye he didn’t turn anything down because the request hadn’t even gotten to him.
“Nobody told me ye was trying to get me on a song,” he tweeted. “that’s fucced up. @kanyewest no disrespect nobody told me.”

Days later, internet sleuths determined Baby had flown out to meet with Ye at his Wyoming ranch – which is presumably where “Hurricanes” came into fruition.
The collab may be the last we see from Lil Baby for a while, as he recently announced he was entering album mode and consequently shutting down doing any more features.
“It was fun while it lasted,” he tweeted earlier this month. “No More features from Lil Baby #albummode”

The new project will follow his chart-topping sophomore effort My Turn, which was released in February and has since been certified 2x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America and named one of the Top 10 highest-selling albums of the year.
