Four years after Mulatto nabbed the crown on the first season of Jermaine Dupri’s competition series The Rap Game, her stock is finally beginning to rise. The Atlanta-based rapper ropped the “Muwop” video with Gucci Mane in July and was recently named on XXL’s Freshman Class 2020 roster.
On Thursday (September 10), Mulatto became a trending Twitter topic following the release of a new freestyle featuring 24K Goldn, Fivio Foreign and Calboy. As part of her verse, she shoots her shot with Fivio, giving him something to smile about.
“I ain’t even fuck a rap n-gga yet/But if Fivio want to, then I ain’t gon’ pass on him (Uh),” she spits. “Yeah, bitch, I get my MAC on, he ain’t trickin’, I skip him like bad songs/I just dropped a hundred on jewelry during a pandemic/Yeah, my money that long.”
Mulatto continues her verse by boasting about her come-up and reveling in the success she’s seeing.

(What?)/Insecure bitch that made her nigga block me (What?)/We sixty-nine, no Tekashi/Difference is he better not go tell nobody/I was just watching this cypher last year now/Look at me now, only God can stop me.”
In a recent interview with HipHopDX, Dupri noted he wasn’t surprised by Mulatto’s newfound notoriety, explaining, “It’s supposed to happen. That’s how I look at it. People ask me if I’m surprised all the time. I’m not surprised because I picked them. I don’t think people realize it.”
