Black Thought With
Acting Chops
Philadelphia emcee Black Thought
along with Rosario Dawson (Clerks2, Grindhouse) have been cast for an upcoming independent film
entitled Explicit Ills.
The film touches on the effects of poverty, drug usage and
the choices that people are forced to endure. (For example: a woman without
health insurance that has a son that suffers from asthma [Rosario Dawson]).
Black Thought
(who has also appeared in Spike Lee’s
Bamboozled and Brooklyn Babylon) joins Naomie
Harris (Pirates of the Caribbean),
Lou Taylor Pucci & Paul Franklin Dano (Little Miss Sunshine) in the directing
debut of Mark Webber (Whiteboyz, Bomb the System).
