DaBaby got another one.
Billboard reports the North Carolina rapper’s third album, Blame It On Baby, landed at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
The album, featuring the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Quavo, Ashanti and others, sold 124,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
DaBaby was DX’s 2019 Rapper Of The Year, and with his most recent album’s first week sales, it seems like his momentum is carrying over into 2020.

It’s the “BOP” rapper’s second consecutive No. 1 album following 2019’s Kirk, which debuted with 146,000 units.
Blame It On Baby was a streaming monster upon its release, racking up 158 million on-demand streams and continued a trend of R&B and Hip Hop albums dominating the Billboard chart. The Weeknd, who previously held the No. 1 album for five weeks with After Hours, landed at No. 2 this week, followed by Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake, which was No. 1 for one week back in March.
Elsewhere on the chart, Lil Baby’s My Turn dips from No. 4 to No. 5 with 42,000 units sold, Roddy Ricch’s Please Excuse Me For Being Anti-Social is No. 8 with 34,000 units sold and Tory Lanez’s The New Toronto 3 sits at No. 10 with 28,000 equivalent units.
