As more and more rappers are releasing mixtapes for free, (most recently Freeway and Skyzoo) Houston’s Chamillionaire
decided to join the list.
In light of his sophomore album release, Ultimate Victory, on September 18th,
Chamillionaire put up his latest
mixtape, Mixtape Messiah 3, and a hour
long DVD for free download via his own website.
“Because I was nowhere
near done with the album, I had to do something … but the mixtape isn’t about
radio or anything, it’s just to keep my fans cool until the album drops.
September 18 is a little ways away so I decided on July 18 just to drop the DVD
and the mixtape for free everywhere and just let my fans have it,”Chamillionaire said in a previous
interview with SOHH.
The video for Chamillionaire’s
first single, Hip Hop Police (which
features Slick Rick), is ready for
