Las Vegas, NV

The night Tupac Shakur was fatally shot at a Las Vegas intersection, he was riding in a black BMW 750Li — and now, that car is up for sale. According to the Celebrity Cars Las Vegas website, the 1996 luxury vehicle is available for a cool $1.75 million.

“This is the actual car that Tupac Shakur was shot while riding in after a Fight at the MGM in Las Vegas,” the description reads. “It was driven by Suge Knight and originally leased by Death Row Records. This is the first time this car has ever been up for sale or on display since his death in 1996. It has been completely restored to the condition it was in before his death and has just received a new coat of paint.

“There is a small indentation where we believe one of the bullet holes was but it is hard to tell. Other than that it is fully restored. The photo of the bullet holes is just for reference. The wheels have been replaced with the same wheels that it had at the time of the shooting. It runs great and is in excellent condition.” [apple_news_ad type=”any”]

2Pac was shot on September 7, 1996 after leaving the Bruce Seldon vs. Mike Tyson fight at the MGM Grand. Knight, who was driving the car at the time of the shooting, and ‘Pac were rushed to the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada where the Hip Hop luminary was quickly taken into surgery.

Despite doctors’ best efforts, the 25-year-old MC died six days later in the Intensive Care Unit. The official causes of death were noted as respiratory failure and cardiopulmonary arrest in connection with multiple gunshot wounds. 2Pac’s murder remains unsolved.

Las Vegas Police impounded the car after the incident and eventually auctioned it off. It has since passed through several collectors. In 2017, it was up for auction at $1.5 million.

Several of 2Pac’s personal items went up for sale on the Gotta Have Rock and Roll Auctions website last November. One was a personal polaroid with annotations, while the other is a never-been-seen personal polaroid of ‘Pac and his entourage holding several guns, including handguns, submachine guns and what looks like an assault rifle.
