Flatbush’s own, Sheff G, has been making high frequency waves in the independent music realm lately. Proclaimed to have started the Brooklyn Drill sound, Sheff wears that title proudly.
The 21 year old began to gain notoriety when he went viral in 2017 with his single No Suburban which helped shape his reputation as a well-respected lyricist carrying Brooklyn on his back.
With recent release of the visual for fan-favorite single We Getting Money directed by Goddy Woddy, following singles Tonight and Flows with Sleepy Hallow, Sheff G invited HipHopDX along for an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience taking place in the Hamptons.
Sitting outside of the massive castle-like structure named Victorville, Sheff G wore a smile as he talked to DX about what his craziest moment has been been so far at a video shoot, how he became a rapper, and more.
