Trina decided to take matters into her own hands after a member of her team accused Nicki Minaj of not helping promote their “BAPS” collaboration, calling her a “deceiver and manipulator.”
The veteran artist hopped on Instagram Live only days after Nicki broached the topic on the most recent episode of Queen Radio.
“My team speaking out, my team got so much to say,” she explained. “I’m gonna take the blame for my team ’cause guess what? Me and my team, we dropped the ball. Bad business is what’s causing all of this havoc to happen. All of this nonsense. All of this drama. These feelings, this personal, everybody got an opinion — that’s what it is. It’s bad business. It’s got nothing to do with any artist that’s featured on my album.”
Trina also insisted she wouldn’t allow anyone from her team to be disrespectful on such a public platform.

“This album, this whole project is not about Nicki Minaj and no video,” she continued. “It’s a business situation that’s gone terribly bad. What do you do about it? You fix it. You either swim or you sink.
“Out of all the frustration, if you say you’re my team, there’s a way to be frustrated. You don’t be frustrated and you come publicly and you speak out your frustration and you be disrespectful. That’s not what I’m going to allow or accept on any fucking day. Everybody knows that.”
“BAPS” is taken from Trina’s latest project,The One,and features Nicki.

Nicki Minaj’s latest Queen Radio episode has become a trending topic on Twitter for several reasons. In addition to her heated exchange with Joe Budden, Nicki also brought up some accusations hurled in her direction by Trina’s A&R.
In a recent Instagram post, Reginald Saunders accused Nicki of not helping promote Trina’s “BAPS” single and subsequent video, which features Black Barbie.
“I want to address the issue so bad about this #BAPS record and VIDEO and it’s taking everything inside of me to remain quiet,” he wrote in the caption. “This isn’t the first time @nickiminaj has pulled this stunt and trust me it’s cool. I can’t get over how fake people can be for a Lil fame, likes and followers.
“when everyone tried to warn me I still gave her the benefit of the doubt. I can’t wait to see how all of this is about to play out because you can’t stop karmas reign, shame on you .. I mostly feel sorry for the #barbs because they have no clue of the deceiver and manipulator their leader is.”

He added a few hashtags showing his support for Nicki’s perceived nemesis Cardi B.
Nicki clearly discovered Saunders’ comments and briefly addressed them during Monday’s (August 12) show. She appeared to be completely surprised by his allegations.
“Trina’s camp is saying I didn’t do enough to push the ‘BAPS’ video,” she said, audibly confused. “Like, what the fuck!?

“Until you are no longer a human being you will always care. The people that I helped are the ones that start the narrative, so that’s the problem. And I can so much that I don’t. But I will say I’m not addressing men anymore, address my husband.”
She later clarified she and Kenneth Petty are not yet married but will be within the next 90 days.
“BAPS” was released in June and comes from Trina’s The Onealbum.
