Minneapolis, MN

R. Kelly has reportedly been hit with two additional sex crimes. According to TMZ, the charges were filed in Minnesota after prosecutors accused the embattled R&B singer of paying a young girl to have sex with him over 18 years ago.

The alleged incident went down on July 11, 2001 in Minneapolis with a then-teenage girl who was between the ages of 16 and 17.

Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman says the alleged victim wanted an autograph from Kelly, who then paid her $200 to take her clothes off and engage in various sex acts with him.

Kelly is being charged with engaging in prostitution with someone under 18 and hiring/offering/agreeing to hire someone for sexual contact.

The 52-year-old music vet is currently behind bars in a New York City jail after a judge denied his bail. He faces multiple charges, including sex trafficking, in the state of New York as well as various charges in his homestate of Illinois.
