Ed Sheeran enlisted Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock for his upbeat single, “Cross Me.” Sheeran’s new track picks up where his Justin Bieber-assisted “I Don’t Care” left off, which comes ahead of his forthcoming album, No. 6 Collaborations Project.
Arguably Hip Hop’s gentleman, Chance easily contributes to the politely protective nature of the song, where the three artists promise to defend their ladies at all costs.
As for the Fred Gibson-provided beat, the bouncy track infuses mostly pop elements over subtle R&B undertones, which PnB anchors with his crooning chorus.
The single follows up Chance’s last release, “GRoCERIES,” which inspired an online dance contest and has already crowned its first winner.
