As he wraps up another tour, Freestyle Fellowship/Project Blowed staple Myka 9 is back with a new visual for “New Suspiria,” which is the title track from his latest full-length solo album. Produced by Jade River, “New Suspiria” was inspired by a 1977 Italian horror film involving a dance company.
In a strange twist of fate, filmmakers put out a new version of the Suspiria movie the same month Myka’s album was released.
“Director/b-boy ‘Nonstop’ of LA Breakers agreed with me that the video should feature dancers at night in Leimert Park,” Myka tells HipHopDX. “Check the word play. It’s all love!”
Cameos in the visual include his Project Blowed fam Abstract Rude, Zulu Butterfly, Cesse, Silky D and more.
