Philadelphia, PA

G-Unit affiliate Mike Knox is finally free from prison after serving seven years for identity theft and bank fraud. The Philly native quickly hopped on Instagram during the bus ride home to provide an update and appeared intent on making a comeback.

“I am just taking it all in it feels good to be home,” he wrote in the caption. “after 7 years in the feds I am coming for everything I deserve #knox.”

G-Unit powerhouse 50 Cent — who initially sent the bus for Knox’s pickup — seemed equally relieved his longtime friend was out of prison.

He shared a photo of Knox to his Instagram page on Tuesday (April 23) with the caption, “home, fresh out he said gonna shake it up.”

Knox thanked the Power exec in another video of their FaceTime conversation.

“You know I appreciate everything you did for me,” he said. “I’m ready to get busy, you know I gotta get in that studio!” to which 50 replied, “It’s good. It’s good, get it together.”

Knox wasn’t done there. He also called up his fellow G-Unit associates Tony Yayo and DJ Whoo Kid from the bus.

“You lost like forty pounds in there!” Yayo said. Knox responds,”It’s time to get back and turn up, you know what it is!”
