Unlike fellow Dipset member Juelz Santana, who is serving a two-year prison sentence after bringing a firearm to an airport, Jim Jones won’t be doing any time for his Coweta County, Georgia gun and drug case.
According to TMZ, the “Ballin'” artist copped a plea in the case. He was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to pay a $1,500 fine plus court costs.
42-year-old Jones was facing five felony counts and a misdemeanor. One felony drug charge was dropped along with two felony counts of possession of a firearm. If he remains sober while on probation, the remaining three charges will be removed from his record as part of his plea deal.
On June 21, 2018, Jones and some associates led police on a chase after a traffic stop. Cops eventually found to a .25 caliber Titan, a loaded Ruger SR 9mm handgun, marijuana, Oxycodone, Percocet, vape cartridges, THC oil and $148 in petty cash in the vehicle.

Everyone involved was booked at Coweta County Jail that same morning. Jones bailed out on a $7,000 bond.
