In his first official release of 2019, IDK unleashes “Trigger Happy,” an energetic track accompanied by a trippy, neon-tinged music video.
IDK, who’s currently working on his upcoming new album ISHEREAL, takes the opportunity to get a couple of shots in at Logic, too.
The two Maryland rappers have had beef since his Jay IDK days, but now IDK’s true issues with Logic are really taking form.
“Logic and his manager tried to ruin my deal/I guess that’s what happens when you tell a n*gga who spent his whole career proving that he’s black that he ain’t black still/But when you taking food out my fridge I ain’t gotta chill,” he raps.

He keeps the energy of the song high, letting Logic know he’s not afraid of a rebuttal.
“This ain’t a diss/He won’t respond/This ain’t a risk.”
Produced by Rascal and Vontae Thomas and directed by IDK himself, the music video pops with neon colors and visual effects. IDK starts by narrating the video, then picks things up by passionately spitting his heated bars in different settings.
IDK most recently dropped off his IDK & Friends record last November and is currently teasing the release of his forthcoming album, ISHEREAL, which may include this latest release.
