Fabolous is reportedly planning to accept a plea deal in the alleged domestic assault of his now-wife Emily B. According to Bossip, Fab appeared in Bergen Superior Court on January 28 with his attorney Brian Neary.

Neary asked prosecutors for more time to finalize the details, however, the veteran rapper will avoid jail time if he completes violence prevention workshops for the next six to 12 months.

As part of the deal, Fab would plead guilty to either one count of felony brandishing of a weapon or threatening domestic violence. It’s unclear at this point which one he will cop to under the new plea deal.

If Fab stays out of trouble, the charges will be expunged from his criminal record.

Fab was accused of punching Emily’s teeth out during an argument last March. A few weeks later, Fab allegedly threatened to shoot Emily and her father while brandishing a pair of scissors.

As a result, Fab  was charged with four felonies, including aggravated assault of a domestic violence victim. If convicted, he would have faced up to 20 years in prison.

Fab pleaded not guilty last October but rejected the initial plea deal. Had he taken it, Fab would’ve had his charges dismissed once he completed the pre-trial intervention program.

Emily and Fab clearly reconciled. The couple wed late last year.
