Lil Xan has been relatively quiet since the new year kicked off, but evidently he’s been busy. In a recent Instagram post, the Hot Cheetos-loving rapper revealed he and his new girlfriend Annie are going to be parents.
“i wanted to wait but i just can’t leave my fans in the dark,” he wrote in the caption. “it’s official im going to be a father. i love you guys so much and hope you stay along for this crazy journey and i’ve never felt more happy in my life? all of you are invited to the gender reveal party i promise !”
Xan also touched on his long delayed Be Safe album and thanked his girlfriend for “saving” him.
“Cant wait to show the world everything i’ve been working on at youtube space and my official sophomore album ‘BE SAFE,'” he continued. “and to my baby my angel my sunshine @anniiesmith i love you with all my heart thank you for saving me i love you more then words could describe.”

Last December, Xan checked himself into rehab, putting a halt on the project’s release. Mac Miller’s overdose death last September seemingly pushed Xan over the edge. He was vocal on social media about how much Miller’s passing affected him. In fact, “be safe” is supposedly the last thing Miller said to Xan.
Be Safe was expected to arrive December 3, 2018. So far, Xan has yet to unveil another release date.
