Hip Hop’s everyday woman Kari Faux is returning to the scene with a brand new EP that tackles her depression, anxiety fears and triumphs.
Titled CRY 4 HELP and slated for a March 8 due date, the five-track project is being announced with the first single “Leave Me Alone” in tow.
“‘Leave Me Alone’ is about being depressed and feeling like people only hit you up to know what cool things are happening for you but not caring to know the state of your mental,” she tells Complex. “My phone gives me anxiety a lot of the time. Sometimes I wish I could throw my phone into the woods somewhere so no one can reach me.”
