Exile and Johaz, together known as Dag Savage, have teamed up once again for a new EP titled Furnace. Before the project drops on Friday (November 30), the duo has connected with HipHopDX to give fans a first listen ahead of its official release.

“This EP is a kind of juxtaposition between what we want to hear and what we need to hear,” Exile tells DX. “The song ‘Furnace’ featuring Fashawn and The Last Artful, Dodgr is just a fun weed song to help give us a smoke break from the state of the world. However, the B-side is quite the opposite.

“‘If You’re Down’ featuring Blu and Cashus King is very much a discussion about the ills of this world but also a call for unity of all races and religious beliefs to stand up for humanity and social justice. Be on the lookout for this and more on the Dag Savage sophomore album due out in late 2019.”

Starting this Friday, listeners can support Exile and Johaz by purchasing the EP here.
