Opting to curb listener fatigue on the regular Friday release day, St. Louis rapper Smino drops off his follow up to his critically-acclaimed album blkswn, NØIR, a day early.
In conversation with Billboard this past October, Smino describes the album as “A record about the present … about life now,” adding “It’s an experience that is far more complex and challenging.”
An eclectic mixture of neo-soul and hip-hop, the 18-song effort features appearances and production from his Zero Fatigue collective (Bari, Monte Booker, Jay2, and Ravyn Lenae) along with verses from Valee and singer Dreezy.
