Coming off the release of Gangland Landlord, Mozzy drops a video for his latest single “Excuse Me” featuring the legendary Too $hort, Yhung T.O and DCMBR.
The visual captures the spirit of sunny California weather as Mozzy raps about stepping to a woman he wants to make his. Too $hort slides through in a black Rolls Royce while DCMBR croons the hook poolside by Mozzy among bikini-clad women.
“Excuse Me” has certainly been a fan favorite since the album’s release, and the Sacramento native acknowledges the Reece Beats-produced track’s popularity with Complex, which premiered the video.
“I wanted to make something the people can function with inside the club and the radio can gravitate to,” Mozzy explains to Complex. “This song has become one of the biggest songs on Gangland Landlord.”

Gangland Landlord is Mozzy’s second solo project of 2018, displaying his notable work ethic. Speaking with HipHopDX shortly after the album’s release, Mozzy reveals the source of his motivation.
“It’s my shit, it’s my lane. It’s my job, it’s what I do. I take it serious,” he shares. “The work ethic comes from my grandmother. It don’t matter what you want — in her household, you’re not gonna get anything until you work.”
