As reported earlier this month, Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff was found guilty of the killing of two men in 2001.
The onetime drug lord and founder of the “Supreme Team” gang in the Baisley House projects will now live the rest of his life behind bars at a federal prison.
Facing the same federal jury who convicted him, McGriff waited a short two and a half hours, while the jury deliberated. Later announcing that they were split on the death sentence.
With the split, Kenneth McGriff will be sent to a federal prison for life, without the possibility of parole.
