Backed by the mighty lens of Dave Myers, Janet Jackson has unveiled her Daddy Yankee-featured “Made For Now” video unto the world.
The colorful visual employs a 100 percent backdrop and is also available on Spotify.

As her State of the World Tour wraps up, Janet Jackson gears up for the release of her next single, “Made For Now” featuring multi-platinum Raggaeton superstar Daddy Yankee this Friday (August 17).
The record will serve as Janet’s first single release in two years, following 2016’s “Dammn Baby” off her eleventh studio album Unbreakableand the birth of her son with Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana.
Ms. Jackson teased the singles release with an announcement to her Instagram. “From my lips…#MadeForNow with @daddyyankee 8/17,” she captioned.
Produced by Harmony Samuels, “Made For Now” is described as being inspired by the iconic pop singer’s love of music from around the globe and the music video was shot in Brooklyn by Grammy Award-winning director Dave Meyers. The visual is scheduled to be released the same day and features a neighborhood dance party filled with international dancers hailing from Ghana, Nigeria, Grenada, Trinidad and the U.S. – all hand selected by Janet herself.

Jackson will perform “Made For Now” for the first time live alongside Daddy Yankee on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon at 11:35 p.m. EST, Friday (August 17) evening.
