Nas Album Done
Nas unveiled his Nasiralbum with a listening party on Thursday night (June 14) in Queensbridge, New York. Plenty of celebrity guests were in attendance, including Kanye West, Pusha T, Swizz Beatz and DJ Clue.
Fans were able to look on through Mass Appeal’s YouTube channel, though the feed had some technical issues. Following the listening party, Nasir wasn’t available on streaming platforms until late Friday (June 15). Some fans enjoyed its production while some felt like it wasn’t worth a listen due to the allegations of domestic violence surrounding Nas.

Locksmith Talks Apollo Brown EP, Kanye West’s Antics & “Hardest Song Ever”
Locksmith spoke with DX about how he wound up working with producer Apollo Brown on their collaborative EP, No Question, which dropped on Friday.
“Obviously, I already knew about Apollo Brown,” he noted. “You know he’s an incredible Hip Hop producer, just classic soulful type of tracks, man. I didn’t know him personally though. I told him I thought he was from New York. So, what happened was about two years ago, Mello Music reached out to me and was like, ‘Hey man, you know we were talking Apollo. We want to do a project with you. Would you be open to getting production or something like that?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, absolutely!'”
