Now that J. Cole and Lil Pump have settled their issues, it appears the “Gucci Gang” creator needs a new target to attack. Pump apparently found a new source of derision, calling out Russ while declaring his support for Cole.
“ME & J COLE COOL NOW SO NOW ITS FUCK RUSS,” he wrote on Instagram and Twitter.
The feud between Cole and Pump first surfaced when the latter released a song called “Fuck J. Cole.” When the Dreamville boss dropped his KOD album, many people assumed he was going at Pump on the closing track “1985 (Intro To ‘The Fall Off’). The two eventually cleared the air after meeting at Rolling Loud 2018 and sitting down for a conversation in North Carolina.
Russ has become an enemy to artists like Pump due to his criticism of the general state of the music industry. He’s also been very vocal about the glorification of drug use in Hip Hop.

In April, Russ drew the ire of many producers, including Metro Boomin and Southside, when an old interview surfaced in which he blamed beatmakers for wack rap.
“People blame the rappers for the state of Hip Hop, but rappers are not making the music,” he said. “You gotta blame the producers. If a producer sends me a pack of 20 beats and they’re all wack and sound the same, I’m just fucked. I just have to pick the best of the worst. It’s not the rapper’s fault.”
