PARTYNEXTDOOR has broken his silence — albeit cryptically — on his recent arrest for alleged drug possession earlier this week.
In a since-deleted Instagram post captured by DJ Akademiks, the OVO Sound signee wrote, “The only chains on these wrists have diamonds on them. Boston was fun tonight, on my way to Philly. #SEVENDAYS out now. #PositivityTourWontStop.”
PND was on his way to Boston for his show Friday night (October 6) at TD Gardens when his bus was stopped at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge into Canada for a secondary inspection.
Authorities reportedly found PND in possession of Xanax and Oxycodone. The Canadian artist and friend Jerome Nevins were booked on charges of Seventh-Degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. They were evidently released.
