Los Angeles, CA

FOX’s highly anticipated documentary Who Shot Biggie & Tupac? is set to explore the still-unsolved murders of two of Hip Hop’s biggest legends, so it’s a given that plenty of new stones weren’t left unturned.

One of the revelations is how rappers Lil Cease of The Notorious B.I.G.’s Junior M.A.F.I.A. camp and E.D.I. Mean of Tupac’s Outlawz Immortals squashed any lingering beef following their respective leaders’ untimely deaths.

“We literally had people going in on us like, ‘Y’all some traitors. Y’all betrayed ‘Pac,'” E.D.I. tells documentary hosts Ice-T and Soledad O’Brien in an exclusive clip premiered by HipHopDX.

Lil Cease chimed in with enthusiastic nods.

Premiering on Sunday, September 24 at 8/7c, the documentary hones in on the infamous dates of September 7, 1996, in Las Vegas and the early morning of March 9, 1997, in Los Angeles — the timestamps when Tupac and Biggie were shot while riding in the passenger seat of vehicles, respectively. As far as historical contexts go, E.D.I. and Lil Cease are the perfect subjects to be interviewed for these topics since both men were on the scene for the respective shootings.
