Burger King released a fun commercial that boosted the sales of Mark Morrison’s 21-year-old hit “Return Of The Mack” all the way to #20 on this week’s R&B/Hip Hop singles chart.

Chris Blue won season 12 of NBC’s The Voice Tuesday (May 23) and his debut single “Money On You” entered into the R&B/Hip Hop single sales chart this week at #3. As Childish Gambino’s funkafied single “Redbone” gains massive popularity, it has finally landed a place in the Top 10 while DJ Khaled and crew keep the “I’m The One” momentum going at #1.

Return of the Mac N’ Cheetos

It was just in March when Black Twitter was buzzing about the anniversary of Mark Morrison’s 1996 hit single “Return of the Mack” and now a few months later, the song has hit the charts at #20 thanks to Burger King’s latest commercial advertising their deep-fried Mac N’ Cheetos product.

The commercial features The Burger King’s head superimposed on Morrison’s from the original music video, while Chester Cheeto grooves in the background.

Perhaps Morrison’s single “My Life 2.0” featuring Tory Lanez and Rick Ross will also see a little jump?
