DXclusive: Young Braised & Corey Feldman
Canadian artist Young Braised was shocked to find himself included in a mash-up for The Weeknd’s 2015 song “Tell Your Friends” along with Kanye West, Nas, Ghostface Killah, Drake and Belly. It turns out the mash-up was a fake and the upcoming rapper spoke with HipHopDX about the inclusion.

“[I] got a few messages about this, including from my friend Brock at Exclaim! who was surprised to see my name there as well,” Braised told DX. “Honestly not sure how it came to be and wish it stayed up long enough for me to hear it myself, but [I’m] assuming someone grabbed my verse when I put it at the end of Kanye’s version early last year and ran with it. Honoured and perplexed at the same damn time.”
Former child star Corey Feldman also caught up with HipHopDX and spoke about his relationship with Michael Jackson along with the secret behind Jackson’s legendary moon walk: leather-soled penny loafers.
“I wore those penny loafers, too, and I knew the trick to what made him able to glide on the stage when he did the Moonwalk,” he says. “It’s the fact the penny loafers had leather soles. Ninety percent of loafers now are all plastic on the bottom, but in those days, they still had the solid leather bottoms.”
