nxworries (Anderson .paak & Knxwledge) – “Scared money”
Comprised of the ever-colorful Anderson .Paak and producer Knxwledge, NxWorries signed with Stones Throw Records in 2015. Since then, they dropped their debut full-length album, Yes Lawd!, in 2016 and are back with a visual for “Scared Money,” which finds .Paak rocking a Louis Vuitton bucket hat and throwback adidas shirt. Directed by Calmatic, the video is a tribute to 1988’s Paid In Full.
Robert Glasper f. common – “the cross”
Jazz aficionado Robert Glasper resurfaces with a new collaboration, “The Cross,” featuring Common and singer Lianne La Havas. Co-written by Karriem Riggins, the song is included on the soundtrack for Burning Sands, a Netflix documentary about the dangers hazings pose in college fraternities.
