Conway may be one of Shady Records’ newest signees along with his brother Westside Gunn, but that doesn’t mean he’s lost his competitive edge.
In a verse on Statik Selektah’s Showoff on Shade 45 recently, Con reached into his rhymebook and pulled out some lines from his 2015 mixtape track “The Mobb,” where he calls out some of the most feared battle MCs in the game.
“Don’t compare me to these battle rappin’ niggas we don’t rap alike / Niggas ain’t even half as nice / I’ll slap the life outta your favorite rapper twice / Murda Mook in front of T-Rex / Cut Dizaster in half with a plastic knife / The Calicoe Loaded with Clips ripping through parts of you / Gotta hollow for Hollow, but I’m saving it for Arsonal.”
Dizaster went live on Periscope to respond to the callout, first making fun of the idea of getting cut with a “plastic knife” and then giving a more serious breakdown of Conway’s skills.

“First of all, let’s get one thing straight. Ain’t nobody in the world who can beat [me],” he says. “Second of all, Conway’s dope. Super nice. He probably can beat Calicoe and Mook. I think he could beat them. As far as me, Hollow, Arsonal and Lux? Uggghhhhh maybe Lux. Me, Hollow and Arsonal? Ughhhhh I dunno Conway. I don’t know Doggie!”
He gives him some credit for staying competitive and shaking things up, but ultimately doubts they’ll ever meet in the ring.
“I don’t think we would ever battle. I’d rather do a collab with cuz but I know he’s on his own wave right now,” the L.A.-based battler says.
Con’s trash talked battle rap as a whole before on Twitter.

Still, he isn’t just purely talking trash from outside the ring. He’s actually battled in the modern format before, although the audio in this footage from 2014 is so bad that it’s tough to determine exactly how well he did.
