After bombing its initial inspection by the Georgia Department of Public Health, 2 Chainz’s Atlanta eatery, Escobar Restaurant & Tapas, was given a second chance, and this time the results were much more favorable. After citing several concerns in the first go-around, including raw seafood next to utensils, black and red mold-like substance inside the ice machine and a lack of soap or paper towels by the hand-washing sink, the inspector gave the Grammy Award winner’s restaurant a grade of “U” or 59 out of 100.
On Monday (February 27), the Public Health inspector returned and discovered 2 Chainz and company had redeemed themselves by correcting the issues and this time, garnered a score of 92 out of 100, which equates to an A. 2 Chainz, who allegedly fired five managers after the massive fail, took to Instagram to celebrate.
