The 1992 film White Men Can’t Jump is getting a reboot courtesy of Black-ish creator Kenya Barnes, which is slated to feature NBA star Blake Griffin and Carolina Panthers’ player Ryan Kalil, Variety reports.
The original White Men Can’t Jump starred Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes as streetball hustlers who start out as rivals over Harrelson’s ability to dunk and end up coming together.
The script will be written by Barnes under Fox, while Griffin and Kalil are assisting in production through their Mortal Media producing company.
This won’t be the first time we’ve seen Blake practice his acting chops on screen. He played alongside Chris Brown and Drake during that hilarious ESPY skit back in 2014 and he’s also starred in quite a few commercials including his popular Space Jam, Jordan Brand commercial.
