Twenty-four-year-old Atlanta native 21 Savage has teamed up with wonder boy rapper Future in the new video for “X,” which comes from Savage’s 2016 album, Savage Mode. Produced by the illustrious beatsmith Metro Boomin, the track initially appears to touch on some of their past relationships and apathetic nature about moving on. In the video, Savage raps from a stripped down mattress, surrounded by money, parties in the back of a limo with a bevy of ladies, and boasts about his Rolex, gold teeth and diamonds while Future raps from an empty room in someone’s mansion.

WHEN IT’S TIME TO RELAX IN YOUR MANSION

The video features frequent flashbacks of a man repping his Kandypens hat while he’s driving down the street with his lady, as they smile and laugh, despite the fact he’s driving a beat up, old car.

WHEN YOU’RE CRUISING WITH YOUR GIRL

Towards the end, it’s clear the concept of the video has multiple layers, which are not exactly obvious in the beginning. It turns out “X” revolves around not only revenge on his ex-girlfriends, but also the theory money can’t buy happiness. No matter how many Kandypens Savage is able to buy his friends or his seemingly limitless capacity to lace his woman in jewelry, it means nothing if the love isn’t real.

WHEN YOU’RE KICKING IN A LIMO

21 Savage and Future can both be added to the ever-evolving list of high profile artists that cosign Kandypens. DJ Khaled, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Chris Brown, 50 Cent, French Montana, Nas, Kanye, Young Thug, Tyga, Jadakiss, K-Camp, Kid Ink, and Fetty Wap have all featured the brand in their videos. Kandypens was named best vaporizer of 2016 by High Times due to its combination of popular technology and flashy design. A clear winner has been chosen—Kandypens is the go-to choice for vaping in the Hip Hop and Rap community.
