Kodak Black wasn’t joking about working on “being the illest rapper alive” when he posted about his release from jail a few weeks ago.

Now, the Florida rapper is saying that he even beats Lil Wayne as the “Best Rapper Alive.” Young Kodak made sure ALL of his followers knew his declaration as he posted it to Twitter and then adding the caption “Not As Long As I’m Still Breathing And Rapping” to his screenshot on Instagram.

Lil Wayne first made the claim on his track from Tha Carter II and he’s been named to several lists of great rappers, including recently on Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller’s list. DX’s Justin Hunte shared the reasons why Tunechi is one of the greats in a recent episode of The Breakdown.

At the age of 19, Kodak Black has only a few mixtapes to his name, but did get major co-signs this year by appearing on French Montana’s “Lockjaw” and getting Gucci Mane on “Vibin in this Bih” for his Lil B.I.G. Pac project.
