On December 12, Fabolous and two-time NBA All-Star and former Los Angeles Clipper Baron Davis joined their charities together to ensure thousands of children would have a Merry Christmas this year.
Flanked by rappers and ballers such as The Lox (Jadakiss, Styles P, Sheek Louch), NBA vet Al Harrington and NY Jets Darrelle Revis, both The Black Santa Company and A Fabolous Way Foundation banded together to raise more than $30,000 worth of gifts during the event, which was held at The Chester NYC. DJ Boof manned the wheels of steel while guests were also treated to hor d’oeuvres and specialty cocktail menus by event sponsors CÎROC™ and Hooch.
“Black Santa’s mission is to celebrate diversity, the joy of giving and the magic of good. He’s here to bring people together and have fun,” Davis told the festive audience. “We hope he and other characters being created will kindle good spirit and giving regardless of the time of the year.”
Loso’s sentiments were also mutual as he stated, “making someone’s holiday a lot more fortunate this year. At least in the future it plants the seed and hopefully a kid, when they grow up, will do the same thing and give back to more kids.”

The $30,000 gift bundle will be donated to the Edwin Gould Services for Children and Families. Like Loso and Davis’ respective charities, their efforts of goodwill transcend all year round.
