“I had a lot of time to reflect and just think about some shit,” he said. “The thing was that there was so much shit going on in Atlanta, sometimes you gotta hustle and bustle just to get your mind off of shit. When I got a chance to go somewhere like out there, I had no choice but to zone out and think about whatever, whether it’s the progress or some of the shit I’ve been through throughout the year.”

DX also caught up with former XXL Freshman Kidd Kidd and he shared some advice 50 Cent gave him about how to handle real-life situations while in the spotlight.

“When I got with Fif, there was so much going on as far as me personally,” he said. “He was trying so much to keep my head on straight. I was stuck on all types of bullshit. People were getting killed every other day and it was too much chaos for me. I’m back good and back to work now. That’s one thing 50 always preached to me. Don’t just be an artist kid, be a boss. G-Unit forever.”

His previously released cuts “Count On My Hand” and “No Commercial” are expected to be featured on his upcoming Peanut From Mazant EP.
