Zaytoven has been dominating 2016 with his work with Gucci Mane and Future. He might be about to make another splash with a Jay Z collaboration.

The megaproducer shared a picture of himself with Hov in the studio during his trip to Los Angeles this week after his latest hit, Drake and Future’s “Used To This,” dropped.

This year, Zaytoven has helped further the signature trap sound of the South, especially with Gucci Mane’s two albums. He rarely branches out, but did with Usher’s 2009 hit “Papers” and was found in the studio with 50 Cent last year.

Meanwhile, Hov hasn’t released his own project since 2013’s Magna Carta… Holy Grailbut this year, he has lended bars to the “All the Way Up” remix and Pusha T’s “Drug Dealers Anonymous” and is rumored to be working on new music of his own.

Zaytoven continues to further his legacy as one of the greatest in the game as Jay Z expands his empire beyond music with a television deal with The Weinstein Co. Perhaps the merging of the moguls would be a logical next step for both of them.
