A meet and greet with Desiigner and Boston Celtics rookie forward Jaylen Brown today (November 7) got too turnt up to where the fans were kicked out of the mall where they were congregating.
The hour-long event was scheduled at a Champs sporting goods store in the CambridgeSide Galleria Mall store.
It’s estimated 1000-plus fans came to meet the “Timmy Turner” rapper and the No. 3 overall draft pick from last June’s NBA Draft, according to reports from WCVB 5. The unexpected attendance caused the mall’s administration to call in more Massachusetts state troopers along with local Boston and Cambridge police to clear the scene.
That’s when pandemonium ensued as the fans reportedly began to dangerously throw objects including bricks and shards of glass as weapons at the cops.

Police began to retaliate with pepper spray to subdue the unruly crowd. Everyone in the mall went absolutely apeshit and ran for cover.
After things went helter-skelter between the crowd and the fans, the police went into operation lockdown mode on the mall and forced all the shoppers and fans to evacuate the premises.
Paramedics arrived on scene treat dozens of injuries from the pepper spray. A reported six arrests have been made from the incident for disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, and trespassing.
No official statement has been released from Desiigner’s camp at press time. But Jaylen Brown tweeted about the mall being shut down by the cops and the Brooklyn MC reposted it to his Instagram, seemingly proud of how the evening went down.
