Solange has returned with the release of her new album A Seat at the Table.
The LP comes eight years after Sol-Angel And The Hadley St. Dreams and features Q-Tip, Lil Wayne, BJ The Chicago Kid and more.

Eight years after dropping her last solo album, Sol-Angel And The Hadley St. Dreams, Houston songstress Solange is readying the release of its follow-up, A Seat At The Table.
Solo expressed her “gratitude and excitement” upon sharing the news of her latest collection of work via Instagram. She added that A Seat At The Table will be released digitally on September 30.
“I am overwhelmed with gratitude and excitement to share this body of work I have written, with you,” Solange wrote in the caption to a photo that could serve as the cover art to A Seat At The Table.
A second Instagram upload shows the tracklist for what will be Solange’s third studio album. The project will feature 21 tracks, and will boast guest appearances from BJ The Chicago Kid, Lil Wayne, Q-Tip, and a handful of other artists.

In addition to the digital album for A Seat At The Table, Solange has also released a digital book via SolangeMusic.com. Consisting of 112 pages, the digital book features a collection of poems, photos, and possible lyrics.

News of Solange’s A Seat At The Table album comes weeks after she penned “And Do You Belong? I Do,” an essay that touched on her personal experience at a concert, as well as issues pertaining to race here in the USA and abroad.
