Ace Hood takes command of 2016 with his second mixtape of the year, Body Bag 4.

The project is made up of 12 tracks including an “OOOUUU” remix, “My Blower” and a tribute to Shawty Lo called “Married to the Game.”

The last Body Bag mixtape was released in 2014 and the fourth installment follows Starvation V, which the Broward County Boss dropped in July.

“I’m nowhere near my peak yet,” he said to HipHopDX this summer about continuing his decade-long musical career. “I haven’t reached my peak. This is only the beginning for me and my transition and where I’m going. That’s just me feeling like I’ve been able to slightly recreate myself in a sense each and every time and that way when I drop it feels fresher, it feels new.”

Ace Hood started the Body Bag mixtape series in 2011 and impressed through three projects with hard-hitting beats and raw lyricism.

The “Bugatti” rapper is now focusing on furthering his Hood Nation label after stints with Cash Money and DJ Khaled’s We The Best Music. After the release of Starvation 5 this summer, Ace Hood spoke with HipHopDX about his direction moving forward.

I’m nowhere near my peak yet,” he says after explaining how he wants to continue branding himself with heartfelt storytelling. “I haven’t reached my peak. This is only the beginning for me and my transition and where I’m going. That’s just me feeling like I’ve been able to slightly recreate myself in a sense each and every time and that way when I drop it feels fresher, it feels new. When you hear my body of work or just a record it’s like a breath of fresh air. So that’s what I would say it’s just being able to stay fresh and growth most importantly throughout the test of time. Years and years of just not staying the same but evolving through those times, learning, growing and giving people available content is what’s kept me going thus far.”
