Long Beach, CA

Complex has added Kid Cudi and Skrillex to its first ever ComplexCon, the company announced via press release. The two artists, along with Virgil Abloh, are scheduled to perform on the first day of the festival, which is slated to be held November 5 and 6 at the Convention Center in Long Beach, California.

“The music portion of ComplexCon is obviously a very important component of this experience,” Complex’s Chief Content Officer, Noah Callahan-Bever says in the press release. “Over the past 14 years, we have been the authority on identifying emerging stars and this lineup has been carefully selected to reflect that. Plus, it’s gonna be dope.”

Kid Cudi has been preparing two albums that are set to release this year. He also reportedly has a collaboration with Pharrell on the way. This comes after the Cleveland artist dropped his alternative LP, Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven in December.

Skrillex joins the ComplexCon host committee with Pharrell and Takashi Murakami.

Besides two nights of concerts, ComplexCon is set to feature shopping, food and art. The website is advertising the event as “our generation’s World Fair,” referring to the annual exposition where the Eiffel Tower and Ferris Wheel both made their introductions to the world in the 1800s.
