Now that Hov has tackled the music world, could he be preparing to conquer real estate as well? The New York Post, recently reported that the Jiggaman himself and NBA star-turned-real-estate-mogul Magic Johnson were overheard at Manhattan’s Philippe restaurant finalizing plans for Jay-Z to buy property in Harlem. However, Jay Z’s reps are denying that claim.
As T.I. preps for the release of his fourth album, King, which drops March 28, he is partaking in an exclusive campaign. Atlantic Records has partnered with Sprint to offer consumers the opportunity to download songs from T.I.’s upcoming release before it’s available in stores. The deal also allows Sprint customers to have access to exclusive ringers, Call Tones and images.
Any time between now and March 28, Sprint customers will be able to download full songs from the Sprint Music Store. The week of the album’s release, fans will also be able to download an exclusive video titled Life with T.I.. The content can be accessed via “http://www.ringaking.com/”.
Atlantic president Julie Greenwald had this to say about the union between the two entities: “It is through innovative campaigns such as this that we are redefining our release strategy, as we are constantly seeking out unique, non-traditional ways to capture the consumer’s attention and drive new music sales.”
