T.I. and Tiny stand behind their daughter, Zonnique Pullins following recent arrest.
According to TMZ, T.I. and Tiny have shown their full support for Zonnique after she was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport for attempting to carry a gun through airport security.
Zonnique reportedly brought the wrong purse with her as she rushed to the airport. Additionally, the gun was allegedly purchased as a means of protection.
“We’re told Tiny actually went with Zonnique to buy the .38 caliber pistol after the 20-year-old aspiring singer started getting threats on social media, and a fan grabbed her at a recent listening party,” TMZ reports. “Our sources say T.I. and Tiny both agreed she needed protection.”

Tamara Whitaker, Zonnique’s cousin, also spoke on Zonnique’s gun being used for protection.
“Zonnique did get caught with her registered weapon but like most of us she just forgot it was in her really big purse,” Whitaker wrote in the caption to a photo of Zonnique’s mugshot. “We were taught in my family that people are crazy out here and carrying a small gun to protect yourself is what’s needed . With the late shootings and death of a pop star all in Orlando just this week , I think it’s very appropriate that she carries a gun just not to the airport maybe lol.”
Zonnique was arrested on June 16 and taken to Clayton County Jail. She was released shortly after the arrest.
