In 2003 Cornell ‘Nelly” Haynes Jr. launched Apple Bottoms for all the thick women of the world. In 2006, Nelly plans to expand his Apple Bottoms empire to include lingerie, shoes, handbags, plus-size clothing and children’s clothes. The first print ad campaign will showcase Nelly, St. Lunatic member Ali, Goodie Mob’s Big Gipp and Jermaine Dupri.

All the artists are slated to appear with their daughters in the ads.

Three Six Mafia are set to finally reap the benefits of their hard work. The Memphis trio will make history by being the first rap group to perform at the 78th annual Oscars show. Juicy J, DJ Paul and Crunchy Black divulged the information to the New York Posts’Kris Tapley. They will perform their Oscar nominated It’s Hard Out Here For A Pimp from the Hustle and Flow soundtrack. While in a gift room in Los Angeles, Juicy J had this to say: ”You’re used to sitting in the studio with a bunch of guys drinking beer and smelling like something they shouldn’t…then you pull a switcheroo and you’re in a room with Steven Spielberg and Reese Witherspoon.” The awards will air Sunday, March 5.
