Scott Storch walks away from a high-stakes lawsuit with the rights to his music. According to Bossip, the two men who sued the mega-producer for $4 million back in January, claiming he relapsed on cocaine, asked a judge to toss their case because they have reached a settlement. The judge dismissed the case May 3.
“No comment, other than that the parties have peacefully resolved all prior disputes,” the plaintiff’s lawyer, Darren Heitner, says in a statement.
In the agreement, Storch retains the publishing rights to all of his work after reportedly signing a contract with Brad and Seth Cohen to create a company to build his comeback after he filed for bankruptcy in June. In the original deal, Storch would hand over his publishing rights and allow the company to use his name and likeness to promote the music that he created. He also would agree to remain sober after years of battling drug addiction.
The brothers sued the “Still Dre” producer after he reportedly backed out of the deal and failed a drug test. They claimed that they had already spent $1 million on his rent and other expenses to get the company going and Storch did not fulfill his musical obligation.

During the case, Storch’s girlfriend claimed that the Cohens threatened to put a hit on her and the producer. She filed documents that stated the brothers attempted to use fear and coercion to get Storch to agree to their deal.
In his final decision, the judge says the Cohen brothers can not appeal after the case was tossed.
