Afrika Bambaataa, a Hip Hop pioneer and founder of the Universal Zulu Nation, has been accused of sexual abuse by three more men, according to an exclusive report by the New York Daily News.
Hassan Campbell, 39, stepped forward last week after former New York State Democratic Committee Member and author Ronald Savage alleged that Bambaataa molested him several times as a teenager.
“He had the most fun house in the world,” Campbell, who claims that he used to hang out at Bambaataa’s Bronx apartment in the 1980s, recalled to the New York Daily News. “There were celebrities there, musicians, neighborhood heroes. It was the best place to be – and the worst place to be.”
Campbell alleges that Bambaataa sexually abused him various times at the age of 12 and 13.

“He is a pervert,” Campbell added. “He likes little boys.”
A second male, a 50-year-old New York native who requested that his name remain anonymous, also told the New York Daily News that Bambaataa abused him.
“I know what Ronald Savage is saying is true because he did it to me,” the individual said. “I have never spoken to anybody about this and when I did, I said ‘Holy s—, they finally caught up to him.’”
In addition, a third male — a 51-year-old former New Yorker named Troy — has also come forward to allege that Bambaataa abused him.

“I still have a lot of anger about this,” Troy, who now lives in North Carolina, told the publication. “I’ve been dealing with this for years. It’s a shame this didn’t come out earlier.”
Continuing, Troy said: “He showed me a book with a picture of a penis and said, ‘You don’t have to be gay for me to suck your d—.”
Campbell, along with Bambaataa’s other accusers, say that the “Planet Rock” rapper showed them pornographic pictures or videos and then performed oral sex on them.
Bambaataa’s attorney, Vivian Kimi Tozaki, did not return requests for comment on the new allegations. However, in a statement issued earlier this month (April 8), Tozaki said Ronald Savage’s claims “show a reckless disregard for the truth.”

On April 12, Afrika Bambaataa released a statement to Rolling Stone regarding the allegations leveled against him.
“I, Afrika Bambaataa, want to take this opportunity at the advice of my legal counsel to personally deny any and all allegations of any type of sexual molestation of anyone. These allegations are baseless and are a cowardly attempt to tarnish my reputation and legacy in hip-hop at this time. This negligent attack on my character will not stop me from continuing my battle and standing up against the violence in our communities, the violence in the nation and the violence worldwide.”
