NEW YORK, NY

This week on the R&B/Hip Hop single sales chart, the Top 3 remains unchanged as Rihanna, G-Eazy and Desiigner all hold on to their first, second and third spots respectively. Elsewhere, Chris Brown’s “Back To Sleep” falls from #10 to #16 following a dip in sales and lastly, Beyoncé’s “Halo,” from the singer’s 2008 album I Am… Sasha Fierce, jumps from #93 to #7 following a surprise 668% increase in sales.

Rihanna’s “Work” Stays At #1

The momentum surrounding Rihanna’s “Work” refuses to show any signs of letting up this week as the single continues to dominate the R&B/Hip Hop sales chart. During the seven days leading to March 31, the cut moved 88,580 units, meaning it has now sold a total of 1,216,990 copies since its official release on to the charts ten weeks ago.

G-Eazy Stands Firm At #2

G-Eazy experienced a 24% increase in sales this week for his single, “Me, Myself & I.” The cut, which features on the Oakland rapper’s 2015 sophomore album When It’s Dark Out, sold 66,348 units during the seven days leading to March 31, meaning it lands at #2 for a ninth consecutive week. Similar to Rihanna’s “Work,” sales for G-Eazy’s “Me, Myself & I” show no sign of slowing down.

Desiigner’s “Panda” Retains Momentum

Coming in at #3 this week is Desiigner’s widely covered single, “Panda.” The cut, which moved 49,165 units during the seven days leading to March 31, experienced a notable 57% increase on the 31,229 copies the single sold last week. However, with both Kevin Gates’ “2 Phones” and Jeremih’s “Oui” picking up momentum, “Panda” will have to continue its surge if it’s to remain in the Top 3 next week.
