Alicia Keys is set to divulge her life story on an upcoming UPN television show.

Well, maybe not all of her life but certain parts of her childhood history will be told. Miss Keys, the Grammy winning star is bringing her idea of the story loosely based on her life to the network according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The series will travel the road with a girl who, like Keys, grows up in a bi-racial family in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen which is known as one of the roughest areas in the city.

At the tender age of six, she learns classical piano. As she gets older, she sets out on a journey to take in her New York surroundings, particularly Harlem.

Keys, born to a White mother and a Black father, serves as executive producer on the yet-to-be titled show which will be penned by Felicia Henderson of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Moesha and Soul Food fame.

Recently, BET reported that Keys will be appearing in her first feature film, Smokin’ Aces, in which she plays an assassin hired to eliminate a mob snitch.
