Foxy Brown is not endorsing Donald Trump for president.
In the midst of reports circulating that Brown is supporting the Republican candidate, she took to Instagram today (March 15) to say that her words were taken out of context.
“I AM IN NO WAY ENDORSING TRUMP!!!!!” she writes. “They Tried It Wrong One! What I Said Verbatim Was Trump Had Tenacity, Much Like I Said HILLARY CLINTON I LOVE DEARLY And BERNIE SANDERS I Absolutely ADORE!???? What Was Supposed To Be An Interview About Me Receiving A HISTORIC KEY TO MY HOMETOWN IN BROOKLYN Turned Into A Trump Grabbing HEADLINE Cuz That’s What Sells Papers. Per Usual, The MEDIA Sensationalizes Everything, Yet NO Mention Of My Glowing Remarks Regarding HILLARY CLINTON Or My Profound Respect And Admiration For BERNIE SANDERS.
SHAME ON THE MEDIA!!!! Typical! And THANK YOU AGAIN TO BISHOP WHITEHEAD And OUR WONDERFUL BROOKLYN BOROUGH PRESIDENT ERIC ADAMS For This Historic Honor He’s Bestowed Upon Me!!!”
Brown received the key to the city of Brooklyn earlier this month.

The New York Daily News ran a story today with the headline “Reclusive rap star Foxy Brown praises Donald Trump, says she will be doing ‘a lot’ for his campaign.”
“I know so many people won’t agree with me and will try to change my mind, but I’m a smart girl,” Brown says in the article. “I’m excited…I haven’t been this excited in so long.”
Trump has been criticized by the rap community for comments that many have deemed racist. Among those who have decried the entrepreneur are T.I., Mac Miller and Jeezy. Protestors in Chicago forced Trump to cancel a speaking engagement last week.
